Mcandco.’s founders Corinne Gilbert and Dan McCarthy began with a concept for good, accessible design. All the unique, quality products are produced in Brooklyn by mostly small scale artisans and craftspeople. Furniture, lights, and tabletop accessories are chosen for its clean, accessible appeal. In creating mcandco’s web presence, 5 in 1 combined the aesthetic clarity of a fixed grid structure with user-friendly accessibility. The aim was to translate the eclectic yet elegant white space of the bricks and mortar shop onto the web experience. Minimal design emphasized the unique quality of the products. |
